1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device to help them function correctly, remember your preferences, measure how the site is used, and — on some pages — support advertising. Similar technologies such as local storage and pixels work in comparable ways.
2. How ConvertMate uses cookies
ConvertMate uses cookies and similar technologies for:
- Essential functionality and basic site security.
- Anonymous analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns.
- Advertising delivered by Google AdSense or similar partners on pages that show ads.
- Preference storage — for example, remembering your theme or calculator settings between visits.
3. Types of cookies we may use
Essential cookies. Required for the site to load, navigate, and stay secure. The calculators cannot function reliably without them.
Analytics cookies. Used by services like Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity to measure pages viewed, referral sources, device type, and load performance — always in aggregate, never tied to your identity.
Advertising cookies. May be set by Google AdSense and its partners to deliver ads, measure ad performance, and limit how often you see the same ad.
Preference cookies. Store small bits of state such as your theme choice or recent calculator inputs so the site feels consistent across visits.
4. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by third-party services we use to run the site, including Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Google AdSense, and our hosting, CDN, and security providers. These services process data under their own privacy and cookie policies.
5. Google advertising cookies
Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to ConvertMate and other websites, personalize ads where permitted, measure ad performance, and detect or prevent fraud and abuse. You can review and adjust your ad preferences via Google Ads Settings.
6. Managing cookies
You can manage or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings — most browsers let you block third-party cookies, clear existing ones, or browse in a private window. Blocking essential cookies may break parts of the site, but analytics and advertising cookies can be disabled without affecting the calculators.
7. Do Not Track and consent
Browser "Do Not Track" signals are not consistently supported across the web, and there is no industry-wide standard for how sites should respond to them. Where required by law, ConvertMate may display a cookie consent banner so you can accept or decline non-essential cookies.
8. Updates to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our analytics, advertising, tooling, or legal requirements evolve. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page always reflects the most recent revision.
